SMILE: Our Greatest Sword

        Behind those smile there's a story you would never understand. In spite of all the problems and challenges that every Filipino have been faced they still manage to smile. Their brain say's that they are okay, but everyone's heart was shouting that they are not. Because they are only human, they bleed when they fall down, and they crash and break down, but outside those walls, they are still smiling and laughing out loud, hiding all the pain and tears from the crowd, but the truth is they are hurting inside. That's what really a Filipino is.

        It was in the month of November in the year 2013 when the super typhoon Yolanda attacked Visayas, particularly on Samar and Leyte. According to my research about 11 million people were affected, and many were left homeless. The world recognizes the resilience of the Filipino spirit. Because even after experiencing the worst disaster, they always find a reason to smile and laugh. Even we are a victim too, we still manage to help others. Resilience have marked strength in every citizens, but at the end of the day, the greater challenge. After a typhoon or earthquake is always "how to rebuild our community". In spite of the disaster, we never lost the hope to continue to live our life, but instead, we find reason to smile, to laugh and to be happy. Knowing in the next day, you don't know how to continue your life again, without clothes to wear , food to eat, and a house to live. But we still have our sword, we still have our shield, and that is our smile.

        Every smile, hides so many feelings, fear, sadness, heartbreak but it also show one other thing, the strength. Smile helps us to kill the sadness, the hatred. In every smile we forget that we have a problem. We always have that strength, because every smile gives us the strength to continue our life, to fix our ruined life. Don't let the word change your smile but rather let your smile change the world.

REFLECTION

                       

         Student's nowadays doesn't know the real essence of computer. The one reason why did inventor made a computer and technologies is that, it is for school purposes, but some of the students doesn't know how to use it properly, they don't know how to use the technology properly. They are abusing it, they do not know their limitations. To be honest, I have been there also, when I was a child, I thought computers were made for children in order them to play, when I was young, I just played with our computer until I get bored on it. I didn't know the importance of technology back then. But now, my secondary life changed my perspective about technology. My secondary life taught me the real essence of technology.

         ICT? What is ICT anyway? According to my research, ICT or Information and Communications Technology is  is another/extensional term for information technology (IT) that stresses the role of unified communications and the integration of telecommunications (telephone lines and wireless signals), computers as well as necessary enterprise software, middleware, storage, and audio-visual systems, which enable users to access, store, transmit, and manipulate information. Why do we need to know what ICT is? So that we have the knowledge about ICT and so that we know the real essence of it and what can ICT gave into our lives. Because of this subject, I learned many things, I gain new knowledge, knowledge where I can share with others, because of this subject, I know now the parts of the motherboard together with their uses. During the learning process teachers have provided the best information from the syllable, lecture to reference. ICT is useful and helpful. Its an application of modern technology to interact and share information among people and develop science through technology. We the students were able to make blogs. It was used to communicate ideas with others. The opportunities brought about by this subject to  students were able to experience the new technology in today’s generation and the challenges brought about by the ICT to the students is how the new technologies that are being used affect the generation. If you create a blog, you should already know that it is seen by the public which let them comment their opinions. For me, the real challenge brought about this subject is that how communication is fast by just the use of social media websites. This is very helpful in every student, especially, if you need help on specific topics for a subject.

    I have learned a lot about technology through the help of this subject. Now, I know what really technology is. Because of the ICT subject I learned a lot, I gained knowledge. We, the students should give importance about technology. Because of this subject our confidence was boosted, it sharpens also the brain's performance of the individuals. Because of this subject, we can communicate with others. Every students should know the real essense of technology. We, the students, should give importance on this subject. We are very thankful because of the help of this subject we learned so much knowledge. I may say that ICT is a hard one but it is enjoyable.

Wikang Filipino: Paunlarin at Pagyabungin

     Sa ating mundong pabago-bago, hindi mo na malaman kung ano ang pinapahalagahan ng bawat mga tao. Mahal kong bansa, Ang Pilipinas, wikang Filipino ang gamit na lenggwahe ng mga Pilipino, ngunit bakit unti-unti ng binibitawan ang lenggwaheng ito at mas pinipili na ang lenggwahe sa ibang estado. Wikang Filipino ipinag babalewala ng mga tinedyer kayat sila'y hindi na natututo. Gumagawa ng mga bagay na hindi naman ikauunlad ng bansang ito. Buwan ng Agosto, malugod na tinanggap ng mga Pilipino ang pagpasok ng ipinagdiriwang na Buwan ng Wika, "Filipino: Wika ng Saliksik" ang tema nito.
      Wikang Filipino, maraming naituturo sa buhay ng bawat Pilipino, sapagkat tinitipon tayo na magkaisa ng wikang ito. Wikang Filipino sama-sama nating yakapin upang pag-unlad ay sabay-sabay din nating anihin. Wika na siyang nagsisilbing ating teleskopyo sa pagtuklas ng pagbabago; Ang karunungang natamo, sa progreso patungo. Kaya't tayo'y matuto na magsaliksik gamit ang Wikang Filipino, tangkilikin ang sariling atin. Sarili'y sanayin na Wikang Filipino ang dapat gamitin. Mahalin ang sariling atin, wikang Filipino'y pagyabungin at pagyamanin.
